ALR MOTORCYCLE VEST PATCH PLACEMENT
The standardized and correct wear of patches on the motorcycle vest is as follows:

The American Flag patch is worn on the front upper left. No other patches or pins go above this American Flag patch.
The Virginia State Patch is to be worn on the front lower right.
The POW/MIA patch is to be worn on the front lower left.

Supporters of the ALR need to be identified by the wear of a small rocker patch below the small ALR patch on the front upper right of the vest with the words “SUPPORTER”. (A supporter is that person who is a member of the American Legion Riders who does not own or ride a motorcycle. He/She must still abide by all the other requirements for membership in the American Legion and the ALR.)
